We're not going to get into the "this is how you spell Thai words with English characters" again are we? The ONLY correct way to spell any Thai word is with Thai characters and any Anglisation is only an approximation. Many of the "accepted" Anglisations originated from persons that had English as a second language and so make it even more confusing.

Thai language subtitles on the Thai TV news coverage of the US election today referred to Donald Trump as "Donal Trum",  it works both ways...
