You assume a great deal and understand very little. I am in no way on the left of the political spectrum. But I suppose it's difficult for some to grasp that can't categorizing people in such black and white terms is naïve.

Ooh...a man of mystery.

I just went back and read the last 20 or so of your posts and they all have a pro-hillary liberal slant and attack and criticize conservatives as well as trump supporters which you lump together as one in the same. So its humorous you now lecture on categorizing.

You even declared you were part of the majority of hillary supporters so howabout knocking off this lecture on not being a liberal. Thanks.

If you don't want to be labeled a liberal then might I suggest you quit posting from the liberal position constantly.

You are essentially saying that the US government has done a good job and that you are satisfied with the condition of the country? Moron socialist teachers controlled by the federal government are encouraged and permitted to teach students to be anarchists? I hope one of the first things that happens is to eliminate the US department of education and give it to the states where it belongs.

Don't worry the Republicans are like kids in a candy shop hardly able to decide which shiny bit of socialism to tear down first.  And guess what is the most socialist program of all in their little minds, even if its Trust Fund is actually solvent?

I am making my plan B right now.  How's yours looking?

Blah, blah, blah, whine, whine, whine.

You're missing the point entirely.

Trump didn't need a valid game plan. He was given a golden opportunity to win this election simply because the Democrats decided to field a candidate so tainted by

lies and corruption as to be (as it turned out) unelectable.

The Republicans could probably have painted a face on an old sack and still have had it kick Clinton''s *ss!!

Exactly, and that is a very sad commentary.  You got what you deserve.  Good luck with that!

I know that fool but it doesn't make it right - one person one vote is all that's needed no matter where they live but I guess you don't support democracy

Cute, name calling.... Must have hit a nerve. Feels good over here.

This is why I don't usually don't debate anything with the English. They are incapable of viewing things from an American perspective, but continually feel they know whats best for America and the World.

Hopefully your Plan B nakes more sense than your analogy.

But you are correct to be weary of plans to gut SS.

Ryan has made that his pet project in the past.

Then you are simply a time waster in the discussion.

Thanks for clarifying.

Clinton is a snake, and I'm not a liberal.  But it's extremely difficult for Trumpians to grasp anything beyond left/right, liberal conservative.  Thinking beyond that makes the brain go tilt.  "man of mystery"?  Sad.

Historical Fact: The House Republican majority refused to allow the closure and blocked the President.

What's that got to do with it? It was an example. His election promise that failed. Full stop!

I thought this topic is about the press protocol for President Elect a protocol which I doubt exists.

Most of these posters would make good politicians...they rave on with their favorite topic without reference to the real one.

I think it is obvious to anyone who can read that the press is totally biased. Is it because they believe that they know what is best for the country? It's hard to understand, at least for me, why they are so far left. Whether Trump will allow them to cosy up to him remains to be seen. It would take a better man than I am to kiss and make up with the people who never had a good word to say.

Interesting read.....

Away from OP (Press coverage) - but part of the conversation content.....

It looks like she wouldn't have won the actual votes - if all were to be counted (all are not depending on outcome)......

Historically - if the uncounted, actual ballots are needed it runs about 67%+ republican favored.....

Oh that is rich.....see what you attempted there?

known as the liberal flip flop

my answer that you quoted was a reply to your posted claims that basically you "assumed" Trump won because voters were too stupid to see obvious thing....

see here yours......

Quote

Due to the fact that he's lied to them throughout the entire campaign.  Even a moron like Trump must know he will be unable to follow through on his 'polices' (AKA threats and lies).  He backtracked on the Muslim ban within hours of winning

Now you want to post saying I am the one assuming 5555

Also in the same breath claim you have no dog in the race.....

yeah your posts show otherwise.....your probably one of the usual suspects with a few logins.......

ok ok thanks all clear now....while I am not one for using ignore function neither do I suffer fools gladly.....don't mind me if I no longer dance with you

The Trump haters have forgotten that Trump is a negotiator. He will have to make deals that make everyone at least somewhat happy. <snip>

But "If you don't like it, you can sue me" or "I can always put my company into bankruptcy and your claims become worthless" have been taken out of his quiver.

trump isn't about pleasing people on the other side of his deals. He's about SCAMMING people. He's left a trail of victims throughout his life. That's president Con Man to you.

As an actual ethical billionaire Bloomberg said, if he runs the country like he runs his business ... God Help Us!

why not?  the one who gets the most votes wins?  how can you argue against that???

What country are you from?

How large a population?

Is it divided into States etc with State laws as well as Federal laws?

Why not?  Because America is a Republic not a Democracy.....

Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch.

He no doubt read all the biased news stories and was ignorant enough to believe them. My guess is that he is a citizen of a socialist country that is still paying huge benefits that they can no longer afford. They will sink sooner rather than later.

By the way, what happened to all the financial experts who predicted that the stock market and the dollar would collapse if Trump were to be elected? You people read too much press garbage.

“Remember (Obama) said two years ago, ‘I’m not on the ballot, but my policies are?'” Krauthammer reminded the audience. “And he got shellacked. And then he said this year, ‘My legacy’s on the ballot.’ And I think he’s going to lose it. I think it’s going to be undone, much of it, in the first hundred days, starting with Obamacare. Everything he signed, all the executive orders, are gone.”

Krauthammer then laid bare for Democrats the devastating truth about the president who took every opportunity to weaken the Constitution and diminish congressional authority: “I think he ends up a historic parenthesis. He has left the Democrats in ruins at every level. The governorships, the state houses, the House, and the Senate, and now the White House. He’s been a wrecking ball for Democrats and I think he deserves a lot of the credit for Trump’s victory.”

“Historic parenthesis” — two words that cast the future of Obama’s eight years as little more than an asterisk.
