I actually do!

Been married to the same gal for >36 years now although I tell her it feels like 96 some times! (joking)

An often quoted urban legend is that married men live longer than single men. Well that has been statistically disproven .... it just seems longer!

Good responses in this thread and seems to be a common theme with many. I did not start this thread as another whinge thread, Its all positive. It has taken me sometime to adapt to this level of unconditional giving and care. I was single for 5 years before I met my now wife. I was extremely independent so it has been a learning process to let her do her thing. One thing about my wife, is she is not lazy. She is always doing something. Sometimes I will be kicking back and I hear her out doing something and I feel compelled to go help and she insists its OK. I just laugh.

To comment like other posters when I start to BBQ or cook something, she politely nudges me out of the way and says I will take care of it, go relax, I had to explain I really like BBQ'ing. She has slowly surrendered the thongs to me but she is good about bringing me a cocktail while I am doing it..  I also found I have to be careful because if I mention something I want to eat in passing she will go off and get it for me when it wasn't necessary. In the end she really only asks me to take care of the vehicles and house things; electrical, plumbing and yard work like digging holes or cutting down trees.

My wife cares so much for me she does the yard maintenance e.g. mows the grass, trims the trees and rakes up the dead leaves where they fall.

Life is great in LOS!

I have to guess she also supports trump
