OK, this one is kind of just for fun.

It's too early to celebrate the fall of trump even though it now looks like we're headed towards a credible obstruction of justice impeachment level offense.

The Simple Truth on Trump: He's Dumb as Rocks

...

Everyone says that he’s this great showman and this great businessman, but if he’s honestly this bad at media manipulation and strategy, I really have to wonder how many times he thought he was the con man but was actually the mark? I guess the only person who can answer that is Vladimir Putin, and I don’t think he’ll stop laughing at us long enough to tell.

From an electoral standpoint, no.  Trump singlehandedly could deliver the House and the Senate back to the Democrats. The trouble is, at the lunatic pace he is going, I don't think he's going to be around long enough.

Fair enough, thanks, I see so much hatred I was curious if the career politician was more to your liking.

If trump is impeached, we'll cross that Pence bridge at that time.

A Pence presidency would be extremely right wing so there would be the more normal partisan/ideological divisions, but it would be without the baggage of worry about an obviously unfit, mentally unstable man having the nuclear codes.

Not who I'd vote for, but if he can run the gov't without acting like and a**e I'd accept him.

Trump becoming ‘sour and dark’ as he turns against son-in-law Jared Kushner: report

As leaks from President Donald Trump’s White House continue to spring in the aftermath of the president firing former FBI Director James Comey, staffers are revealing more information about the president’s moodiness that is even directed at the closest in his inner circle.

quote from your shared link .. " From your link above ... " (Trump's lack of interest in details of policy is legion. We know from leaks from within the White House that Trump prefers bullet points, graphs and charts to word-heavy briefing books ")

->>>>>  National Security Council officials have strategically included Trump's name in 'as many paragraphs as we can because he keeps reading if he's mentioned,' according to one source, who relayed conversations he had with NSC officials."

It's getting ridiculous.

Trump is making no effort to do the job as POTUS.

Trump gets only satisfaction undoing his predecessor's legacy, it's the only plan he has.

"A Russian state-run bank under investigation in the US "financed a deal involving Donald Trump's onetime partner in a Toronto hotel tower at a key moment for the project", The Wall Street Journal reports.

The paper says that Russian-Canadian developer Alexander Shnaider - who built the 65-storey Trump International Hotel and Tower - put money into the project after receiving hundreds of millions of dollars from a separate asset sale - relating to a Ukrainian steelmaker - that involved the Russian VEB bank.

US investigators are examining possible links between Russian financial institutions and Mr Trump, "a person familiar with the probe" is quoted as telling the newspaper.

" Trump idea of inspiring people who will defend their country is to whine about how badly the press is treating him.:Look at the way I’ve been treated lately, especially by the media. No politician in history and I say this with great surety; no politician has been treated worse or more unfairly.”

On the day that a Special Counsel has been appointed and Trump and his men thought they would get a break, we have another OMG moment coming and this time Ryan and McCarthy are going to be taking cover. This might cause Trumps head to implode, I am sure it will put him in 'stroke' territory.

OMG!

House majority leader to colleagues in 2016: ‘I think Putin pays’ Trump

Quote

A month before Donald Trump clinched the Republican nomination, one of his closest allies in Congress — House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy — made a politically explosive assertion in a private conversation on Capitol Hill with his fellow GOP leaders: that Trump could be the beneficiary of payments from Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“There’s two people I think Putin pays: Rohrabacher and Trump,” McCarthy (R-Calif.) said, according to a recording of the June 15, 2016 exchange, which was listened to and verified by The Washington Post.................................Ryan interjected.................

“This is an off the record,” Ryan said.

Some lawmakers laughed at that.

“No leaks, alright?,” Ryan said, adding: “This is how we know we’re a real family here.”

“That’s how you know that we’re tight,” Scalise said.

“What’s said in the family stays in the family,” Ryan added.

Things just got so much worse! Trump will go batsh*t crazy tonight. Imagine the screaming at the TV :cheesy:

The house of cards is experiencing an Earthquake around 7.5 on the Richter scale and the prognosis seems it isn't going to let up anytime soon. The FBI agents will be laughing their socks off.

Special counsel will take over FBI Russia campaign interference investigation

"Bowing to public and Congressional pressure, Deputy U.S. Attorney General Rod Rosenstein appointed former FBI Director Bob Mueller on Wednesday to be a special counsel overseeing the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 campaign, Justice Department officials said."

"Mueller will take command of the prosecutors and FBI agents who are working on the far reaching Russia investigation, which spans multiple FBI field offices on both coasts."

"In my capacity as acting Attorney General, I determined that it is in the public interest for me to exercise my authority and appoint a Special Counsel to assume responsibility for this matter," Rosenstein said in a statement."

Mr. Mueller has served 12 years as the F.B.I. director.

Excellent news.

Republicans jump on special prosecutor bandwagon

"Lawmakers in both parties hailed Wednesday’s appointment of a special prosecutor to investigate Russia’s election meddling — a shift in Republican sentiment after allegations President Donald Trump sought to shut down a related probe."

"House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) both signaled support for the naming of a special prosecutor, with McConnell noting that the Senate Intelligence panel would “also continue its investigation into this matter.”

“My priority has been to ensure thorough and independent investigations are allowed to follow the facts wherever they may lead,” Ryan said in a statement."

Trump was our last shot. I kind of thought it was Romney, and then lo and behold like a miracle Trump comes along. I still believe in Trumpism. I have no regrets for ferociously supporting him. What choice did we have?

We had no choice. Yeah, I mean, my fingers are still crossed. It’s not like I’m out yet, but boy, things don’t look good. I’ve said to other people, it’s as if we’re in Chicago and Trump tells us he’s going to get us to LA in six days. But for the first three days we are driving towards New York. Yes, it is true he can still turn around and get us to LA in three days, but I’m a little nervous.

Almost, but not quite yet, it seems

Mitch McConnell is the Sad Turtle from Disney’s ‘Robin Hood’

When CBS news attempted to ask Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell about the appointment of Robert Mueller as special counsel by the Department of Justice, he reacted like the reporters were imaginary friends that he was trying to convince himself not to see anymore.

Michael Moore promising to end the trump regime with a movie!

A rather big promise, but no more outlandish than trump's campaign promises.

Quote

"The filming has been done under a strict cloak of secrecy and is expected to be key in dissolving Trump’s ‘teflon’ shield and, in turn, his presidency,” a press release says. According to Entertainment Weekly, Moore also issued a statement saying, “No matter what you throw at him, it hasn’t worked. No matter what is revealed, he remains standing. Facts, reality, brains cannot defeat him. Even when he commits a self-inflicted wound, he gets up the next morning and keeps going and tweeting. That all ends with this movie."
