I love my house, pick-up, Honda Wave motorbike, wife's farm, furniture etc too but believe me it all looks so much more beautiful and rosy after 7.00 pm and a couple of drinks.

All the things you mention and more look very beautiful to me at any time of the day or night without any drinks.

Mrs Possum also looks beautiful to me all the time without any drinks, what about Mrs Bannork?

Mrs Bannork is stunning when she smiles, 32 gleaming dazzling teeth and scarcely a wrinkle. However when she frowns it's another story. I usually go to the farm at that point.

Possum as someone who has never drunk you're not really in a position to compare. I urge you to go on a test run. Start slowly with a couple of Leos building up your tolerance and then progress to beer Singha and a couple of glasses of Regency.

People have tried to get me to drink alcohol all my adult life without success, the stuff smells revolting to me, so no chance of a test run.

Poss ol' chum, whether I have a beer or not Mrs.Trans always looks the same to me....Am sure we all appreciate how you live your life having never indulged in a beer, but you must remember most of the first world guys and gals like a beer when out with friends, we like the appropriate glass of wine to compliment a dinner, we like a glass of Champers to toast newly weds...The list goes on matey.. What I am saying is we out here are not all drunks...We enjoy our lives and things that have evolved over the centuries to bring a smile..

Me, a glass of Port with a slab of Cheshire cheese is my heaven, and of course Mrs.Trans will always still look the same.....

PS..As you have NEVER indulged in a tipple I am afraid you cannot comment on those who have for the simple reason that you haven't experienced a beer or anifink chum.......

Yes Trans, I agree that most Farangs are not drunks. Of my local friends, none of them could be classed as drunks. I think you know that I do not mind being in the company of people having a social drink, but if they start getting drunk and abusive towards me, then they had better watch out.

Anyone who, upon meeting me for the first time, feels comfortable enough to lasciviously discuss the sordid details of any number of trysts with an assortment of hookers the night before.

As if I'm supposed to be titillated or envious that he was able to hand a semi-decomposed meth-whore the equivalent of GBP20.

"I can't help it, mate. They just love me".

Have to admit B, when I first read this, (the way your post was originally laid out) I only read the bold text above and nearly choked on my coffee (Yep, I put in the exclamation marks for effect).

Anyway, your method of a 'test run' gave me flashbacks to when I was 14yo and, changing the brand names was similar to how I started my 25 year party that followed. Even though I do have a medical condition that possibly could react to alcohol, it was not the reason why I stopped. When I did stop, I opened a bar (that ran for almost 13 years) so if there ever was a lapse on my part, all I needed to do was look at the customers to reinforce one of the reasons I decided to stop in the first place......................

When I was drinking, I too believed not to trust anyone that didn't drink (truthfully). But having been dry for almost 18 years now, and trusted myself throughout, I would find myself to be a bit of a hypocrite to still believe that.

Oh, and don't get me wrong, there would have been only a few things that I would have changed throughout my 25 year party, fully, fully enjoyed 95% of it. And I have nothing against 95% of people who drink, whether sociably or to excess, it is their lives. The 5% that I do take exception to, IMO, shouldn't have been allowed to travel in the first place without a police escort.

i am amazed that none of you seem to be aware of the vast operation being conducted by ICE against white people in the thailand. have you never noticed the many little groups of middle aged australian ladies pretending to be tourists and clutching their mobile telephones while they take photos of the suspicious white people. they are on the beach, in the restaurants, in the bars and outside the hotels. often they will be accompanied by a child or two from an orphanage or a thai lady ex bar girl. the lurkers on this forum will certainly know what i am talking about.

This poster is either definitely in need of a drink or needs to stop.

Eccentric company directors.

People with double or triple surnames.

Those who were racing drivers a long time ago.
