Hello!

I need my marriage certificate to be translated  from Spanish to English and Thai and then to be legalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. So the translation has to be accepted by the Ministry. As far as I understood not any translation (from any translation agency) is easily legalized by the Ministry of FA. In the Embassy of Spain the translation is very expensive. Can please someone recommend me a translation center, that can do an affordable translation that for sure will be accepted by the Ministry for the legalization?

I'd really appreciate your replies..

A law office will translate the document for a very reasonable amount.

Your translation gets certified by the office.

Hope this helps

Now sure why you suggest a law office to do it when there many professional translation services that can do it.

The MFA will accept a translation from any translation service. But they often find errors that have to be corrected. The best way is to have the translation service to handle the certification for you.

I am sure any of the translation serviced listed here can do it for you. http://photos.state.gov/libraries/thailand/231771/acs/translators_internet_service_photographers.pdf

Thanks a lot..I'll definitely check it out.

Not sure that it will be very affordable though..)) Unfortunately the Venezuelan government decided to make it a large around 20-page document instead of just 1 or 2 pages as it is in my country, for example..

Hello,

Last month I went to one of the translation centres in Mahatun Plaza

in front of Phloen Chit Station on BTS in Central BKK (not too far from

US Embassy).

I paid 2,200B for them to put my certificate from English into Thai and

get 2 pages of the translation certified by MOF. I went there on Monday

afternoon to pay for them and got back there again on Friday afternoon

to pick up the documents. They said there's no more express service for

the certification by MOF.

Hope this helps.

Suggestion made from personal experience. My Embassy did  not accept  a translation from a translation agency so I went to a small law office (Victory Monument area) got my translation done and certified by the office.

Used their translation services ever since  and never got a problem.
