Did not get METV unfortunately

So I applied for METV with all the documents possible as per the checklist but looks like that was not enough and I was told to apply for single entry. No reason given. Money was refunded though. Is there a way to find out a reason for not getting METV? I was basically applying for it to study Thai as i am not getting ED visa as well(FML)

Have you tried contacting the office/embassy/consulate that declined your application? Sometimes the easiest solution is the best - talk to the people responsible.

Perhaps they are not issuing the METV there or you did not meet all of the their stringent requirements.

They have denied single entry tourist visas for no apparent reason as well.

He wrote he was not getting a non-ed visa. A non-ed visa is not required to attend school.
