4evermaat
A friend is on a retirement extension. Originally doing 90 day reports in Bangkok (i think CW) and now he is doing his first one in Chumphon. His existing 1 year extension is still valid. Questions:Is there anything special he needs to do, like a change of address or residence? What paperwork does he need to bring? What forms need to be filled? Any payment (official or not)? He anticipates just walking to the office and doing his reporting. I suspect it is not that simple. He claimed that CW does not allow mailing in of 90 day report; in person only. Is this true? And he is not tech savvy at all, so online submission is likely out of the question. Thanks in advance.
ubonjoe
He will need to formally change his address by submitting a TM28 form to do his 90 report. He will likely need proof of residence when he does it. Download: http://www.immigration.go.th/nov2004/download/pdf/tm28.pdf And possibley aTM30 form: http://www.immigration.go.th/nov2004/download/pdf/tm30.pdf No reports of Chaeng Wattana not accepting 90 day reports by mail.
4evermaat
If he were to mail it to CW, what is the address would he need to mail it to? The return paid envelope.... What do you say to post office so that they will print postage on the return envelope? Edit: does the return address on envelope: does have to be a bangkok one? Or any address is fine? 4evermaat
you buy stamps for the return envelope.. GlegoloEMS.... How is that handled? Also, the TM.28. For people who have done extensions for years. Which visa are they referring to... The original one when you first entered? Or the last entry? In the case that you have left in between and have re-entered?

If he changes his address he would not need to report to CW. Address for mail n reporting to CW is here. http://bangkok.immigration.go.th/en/base.php?page=90days The address on the return envelope would have to be one for Bangkok. 11 hours ago, 4evermaat said: EMS.... Most recent entry to the country.
