a modern kid these days, would prefer to 'tweet'

Looking at the whistle's  design, a muslim kid would refuse to carry, for fear of crucifixion

Geez haven't you heard of 7 Eleven crime reporting?  Policed joined forces with 7 Eleven  a couple of years back and they are now your best option.  If 7 Eleven can't handle it they can decided if they want to handball the incident to police.

So, I can report a killing, and pay my electric in one stop!?

Why do students have to be protected anyway? For sexy slim weak girls i can understand it a bit but it's the same for all other girls as well who don't go to university.

And why do they only give whistles to Thammasat? Is that a risky place while  others are more safe?

In the West i have never ever seen any security at universities at all. They have a concierge but they are more for general tasks.

Because there has been multiple attacks around thammasat rangsit campus in the past 2 months. See news here:

I assume that is linked to the whistles being given out, although obviously better security would be much more effective. Why thammasat? Maybe because it's a big campus, lots of exits, so it's easy to isolate people.
