Long Term Car Hire/Rent

Featured Replies

This morning I overheard part of a conversation of Hiring a Car long time.

I missed out on Cost but New car, Insurance and service costs covered.

Any one have experience and in a position to comment ?

Lots of places around that do long term rentals, especially in Pattaya, figure 16/18k a month based on a one year rental for a vios or similar - google long term car rental Thailand and you'll find lots of sites offering these deals. Note: Avis also have similar.

What do you mean by long term ? Going by the post above, lets round it to 20K monthly. One year 240,000 baht. New Vios is only 599,000 for a base model. I would hazard that if you want one for 12 months, you would do better to buy new, drive for a year, and sell it. Less of a hit - will not depreciate 40%.
