Hello

Merry Christmas!

I currently hold a non B Visa and soon needs to be extended. My employer may decide to pay me 3 months salary and stop being my employer. Personally i wish to stay for another 3 to 6 months in Thailand. What are my options? How quick i should act and go out of the country to apply for new visa?what type? There is a possibility to end my cooperation with the employer in not good terms what obstacles can he put so as to make my residency in Thailand not possible (employer is foreigner non Thai).

I just want to have a plan b in and be well prepared in case of.....i spend already a wonderful 1 year and 3 months here and i do want to stay up to 6 months and continuously reapplying to find a new job in the kingdom.

Thank you for your answers in advance.

p.s i hold a EU passport

You apparently have an extension of stay based upon working issued by immigration not a valid non-b visa.

If your employer is will to keep you employed by not terminating it for 3 months you could stay until the date of termination.

If your employment is terminated you must leave the country on or before that date. You could go to nearby embassy for consulate to apply for a single entry tourist visa that would allow a 60 day entry that can be extended for 30 days.
