Five names I don't want to see

Featured Replies

After all the talk about the loss of many beloved famous names this year I thought I would compile a shortlist of well known luminaries I don't want to see in the obituary column next year.

Folks in the public arena only please people:

Roy Harper

Roger Waters

Neil Young

John Cleese

Terry Jones

The only one I have heard of there is Neil Young.

I know nothing about golf, but I'm sure Jack Nicklaus kicked off just recently.

Maybe you are thinking of Arnold Palmer who died in September this year - another great loss.

Jack is still with us as far as I know (touch wood).

Been wondering about Billy Connolly myself, would be a great shame to lose on of the greatest actors and performers of my lifetime.
I know his health has been poorly of late - hope he keeps going for a while to come!
