Mr Wimpy
Happy New Year !Looking foward to decent Full English in Pattaya. I normally go to the Queen Vic in soi 6 but the wife and 6 year old daughter are coming along this time so I don't really want to drag them down soi 6. Any recommendations for a family friendly place? We're staying at The Hard Rock so somewhere near there would be preferable.Just to confirm I would have no problem bringing them into The Queen Vic but just the surrounding area is a bit full on. champers
Go to Soi 7 and try Dicey O'Reillys. Went to the QV a couple of weeks ago and the breakfast was awful.
Mr Wimpy
OK might give Dicey O'Reillys a go. As I said soi 6 is a bit full on for a 6 year old. Is soi 7 much better?
champers
If you are going during daylight hours either should be OK. Are you worried about what the Missus will think?
Mr Wimpy
Looking on Google maps found Rosie Ogradies and pig and whistle on soi 7 and Dicey Reillys further south
champers
Got me Rosies and Diceys mixed up. Apologies.
Mr Wimpy
Thanks Champers! I think it'll be Rosies.I've only been to soi 6 in the daytime and it's been pretty sleazy even then. Not worried about the missus but don't want to drag my daughter through there.

NanLaew
For sheer value, grab a big table at Retox at the east end of Soi Lengkee @ Third. They also have their other branch Retox Game On west end of Soi Honey @ Second. Sports bars with loads of flat screen televisions and no bar girls. However, better approach Game On from Second road to avoid the massage shops especially the ones at the Buakhao end that are also 'open for breakfast'. Mr Wimpy
Thanks for the suggestion NanLaew. Think I'll try Rosies tomorrow as I like pub style more than sports bar. I've been away from UK for about 7 months already and I haven't had a proper fry up in all that time
