SidJames
I drove past a northbound accident this morning just after 10am-ish by Ocean Marina on the Suk. There was a policeman their waving traffic around it & the heart breaking sight of a boy being attended to on the tarmac by the central reservation & what I can only assume was his distraght mother. Some bikes & a black pickup were stopped by him. Shaken me to the core to see a child like that & I do wish him & his family all the best and that it's only scapes & broken bones at worst. A little blond haired boy. If a foreign country did as much harm to people here that poor driving does it would be seen as an act of war & something would be done about it. sandgroper2
Could have been a heart attack. Who knows. But, definitly poor drinving, by a thai, was to blame.
samsensam
agreed. i have thai friends who tell me they are afraid to visit europe because of terrorist attacks. i explain that if they are that risk adverse they would not go anywhere near a road in thailand as it is hundreds of times riskier. they dont seem to get it. or dont want to get it. it's a very tragic and sad situation. kevozman1
Horrible driving between the norm Thai style and drunken tourists. The roads here really are a worry.
