Robbery murder suspect re-enacts crimes under tight police protection

 

 

Metropolitan police today escorted a robber who killed a student and snatched away his I-phone to reenact the robbery and murder amid tight protection.

 

Kittikorn Vikaha, 26, a resident of Srakaeo province, was arrested last night by police, one day after he robbed the victim, 25-year Wasin Luangjam, an airport ground staffer and a college student, as he walked out of a 7-Eleven convenience store on Soi  Sukonthasawat 27 in Lat Phrao district.

 

His accomplice who rode on a motorcycle for him  is still at large.

 

At the scene of robbery and murder, Kittikorn in crash helmet and armoured vest, was guarded under tight security provided by police amid fear that the victim’s friends and angry crowd might attack him.

 

Over a hundred crowd watched the re-enactment.

 

Before taking to the re-enactment, he appeared before a press conference chaired by Metropolitan Police Bureau commissioner Pol Lt Gen Sanit Mahathavorn.

Thailand doesn't have a front line. It never has had one. Has had a few back lines though. 

Any re-enactment always means a certain guilty verdict.

Not at all. If he is some USA style of freak who wants the glory but Is innocent then acting out the crime will expose him!

There is CCTV footage of him stabbing the victim to death. He's already been exposed as the murderer the re-enactment is the police following the rule book. This guy will be going straight to Bang Kwang Prison for the rest of his natural life. A waste if you ask me. Send him down South as a bomb disposal officer in the Thai army.

I did, and I still cannot understand your point.. He has been recorded in the act of murder and is also a recidivist. I don't think he wants any glory, I just think he totally lacks a conscience and ethics.

BTW, what is a USA style of freak? Someone who wears a black mask and a cape?

the video is brutal to watch. No reason to stab the victim in the neck and slice his throat open.

 

Take this murdering filth out back and shoot him in the head.

The question is; how much value does a human life hold to some people? A phone, 200 baht or a motorbike? The reality being that some have the ability to snuff out another human life like an insect, no conscience with no remorse whatsoever. These petty murderers are mostly people of low intelligence unless they are big time gangsters or criminals. Rehabilitation of these people or trying to make them see the errors of their ways is rarely successful. Similar to trying to train a mad Rottweiler to become a cuddly house pet, it just doesn`t work no matter how many resources are placed into them.

 

Leaving these murderers to the justice of the mob would be true justice indeed, but then that makes us, the so called civilised people, as bad as they are, even worse in fact as the old saying; 2 wrongs does not make something come out right, is true.

 

I doubt if prison will be much of a deterrent where they will be kept and supported at the expense of the state and the taxpayer, a total waste of time and money. The solution is the death penalty, real legal justice for the victims, their families, better for them, better for us.

Why do they do re- enactments?   My Thai friend says to show police doing something good since most Thai people don't trust them or think they do a good job. 

did  they give  him  a  real  knife  for  this  pantomime?

why do these clown think it is necessary to "re-enact" a crime? and having a policeman lay on the ground? this is pathetic! there is nothing good that can come from this both now and in the past except whip up the crowd to a frenzy! I could say my true feelkings but no doubt i would be banned again!

The crowd reaction here is a complete contrast to that of the Koh Tao re-enactment where skeptical onlookers watch on in silence as the scapegoats are forced through the motions.

If he gets his hands on a weapon ever again, he'll shoot the wrong people.  

Time in prison does not seem to have done him any good at all.

He's 26 and already been in prison eight times. He murdered someone less than a month after his release. Either give him life or execute him. That might wipe the smirk off his face. He clearly isn't going to reform.

Not even charged with murder. Pleading guilty is half sentence. Once the social media furore dies down he'll be up for a pardon in about 5 years.
