Wow!

Will they have any repeated customers in the future :whistling:

Refusing addicts their substance

I would love to invite some of my friends to this place.

Great idea.

I guess they discourage calling for reservations too?

If you are already there why would you call for a reservation?

ummm. because if you want a reservation it means you are not there, and if they don't like phones I would not be able to call...

Quite sure the restaurant manager/desk clerk doesn't his/her phone in the basket on the table.

It is not compulsory by the way.

Yes, I am sure you are right - - it was meant as a joke... this does not seem to me to be a serious subject.

I have seen this practice before which wasn't instigated by any restaurant but the patrons own choice, whoever needs to use the phone first pays the bill, no interruptions then will be split evenly or otherwise arranged.

Great. Imagine you had to spend your entire evening with your wife and in laws at some shitty restaurant and couldn't pass time on your phone. We all know in this situation who is paying the bill anyway. lol
