Wannida Man-in, 24, - the manager of the Relax - was arrested after she offered a 17 year old for sale for just 1,000 baht, reports Manager Online. Police had prepared a 1,000 baht note and photocopied it so there was no doubt about the crime. Also taken into evidence was a packet of condoms. District officials and the military were also involved in the arrest. Wannida was charged with trafficking in human beings after being taken to Pattaya police station. The seventeen year old was named only as "A". Her fate is uncertain at this time as this was not mentioned in the Manager online report. Show nudity, open late, aka anything explicitly against the law and yes, you'll need some tea money arrangement but for the rank and file, including bars and hookers on site, you won't. Your honor, here is a photocopy of the note used in the transaction to prove the victim was trafficked underaged. Case closed - hang em high. True, the owner should bear responsibility; however, the manager is the facilitator of the offense. Whether the owner knew of the infraction or not; it's the manager's job to know. Proving the owner knew may be more difficult than proving the manager knew. However, holding the owner responsible for whatever transpires in his establishment would solve it.
