Casanova666
I need to transfer cash from UK and draw it in baht is there a way that helps to ease the big difference the baht rate is causing plsSent from my SM-G920F using Thaivisa Connect mobile app
daveAustin
Assuming you have an account here, Swift is generally best. Always transfer in Sterling (ie, have the exchange done onshore - here). No method would, of course, negate the utterly crap GBP-THB rate at the moment.
JamJar
HSBC account in Pounds via SWIFT £4 UK side and 200 - 500 baht Thailand side. Halifax Bank £9.50 UK, 200 to 500 baht Thai. So no good for small amounts. Best to withdraw Thai baht over the counter using a suitable credit card.
