I read a report where the majority of the refugees from these 7 countries are women and children, trying to escape violence.  Definitely terrorists then!

Something like 50% of Syrian refugees are men of military age. They may or may not have radical Islamic sympathies, but better to vet them them well before letting them in.

With the new 'stay of execution', refugee numbers are surging - particularly from Muslim countries.  Again, Trump proves what a dunce he is.  The flawed legislation that he threw out at the world is adding fuel to the very situation he and Bannon hoped to stem.

If Trump and Bannon had five brain cells working in tandem between them, they would know that the US vetting system for immigrants/migrants is already very strict and time-consuming.

You're confusing refugees who have made it to Europe with the total number of refugees.

There is already a strict vetting system which takes about 2 years per person.  Each application first goes through the UN, and then through several US institutions.  It's quite tough for anyone to get approved.  Trump and Bannon would be smarter to find out what's currently instated, and then suggest improvements as they deem necessary.   It's the same with the Mexican border imbroglio.

They're like a road repair crew who, instead of gauging the condition of the road they want to improve, simply hire giant helicopters to dump hundreds of tons of wet cement on it from 200 ft up.

Really?  Is that from Spicer? LOL

Most Syrian refugees coming to U.S. are women, children

Of the more than 8,000 Syrian refugees admitted to the country so far, 78% are women or children, according figures released by the State Department this month. Fifty-eight percent are children, with a roughly even split between girls and boys.

Maybe Trump's definition of "men of military age" is different from ours? LOL

The US refugee issue is nothing like that in Europe.  You're comparing apples to oranges.  We do have a problem at our border with Mexico, but not one of Muslim refugees pouring in from various borders. Like in Europe.

As I have mentioned before, the US is under no obligation to take any refugee that it doesn't want to take.   Single males would be pretty low on the list of those that we would likely take.  There is nothing wrong with the concept of extreme vetting, but vetting is already very, very stringent.

If you researched this a bit, you'd see citizens from these countries have not killed an American on US soil, for at least the last 40 years.

They may not have killed anyone, but they have tried and they have injured American citizens while doing so. It is ridiculous to keep denying the obvious. Terrorists from these countries have slipped through the cracks already.

AP FACT CHECK: No arrests from 7 nations in travel ban? Nope

WASHINGTON — The federal judge who halted President Donald Trump's travel ban was wrong in stating that no one from the seven countries targeted in Trump's order has been arrested for extremism in the United States since the 2001 terrorist attacks.

Just last October, an Iraqi refugee living in Texas pleaded guilty to attempting to provide support to the Islamic State group, accused of taking tactical training and wanting to blow himself up in an act of martyrdom. In November, a Somali refugee injured 11 in a car-and-knife attack at Ohio State University, and he surely would have been arrested had he not been killed by an officer.

Wow.  All this for one injured American and a potential attack.  Unreal.  As I've said many times before, how about focus on something that's important.  Lots of time being wasted here by Trump and his team.  Sick.  How many are killed every day by guns?  How about focus on the budget deficit.  How about working to bring the US together, not tear it apart with ridiculous EO's like this.
