Thaworn urges junta to admit past errors

By THE SUNDAY NATION

A VETERAN POLITICIAN from the Democrat Party urged the junta government yesterday to take a good look at |them-selves and admit past mistakes in order to achieve reconciliation.

Deputy Democrat leader Thaworn Senneam said if the government really wants to push forward national reconciliation it needs to evaluate whether it abused power as some stakeholders had claimed.

The government should not think that conflicts were only caused by politicians, because state officials also played a part, he said.

Thaworn urges junta to admit past errors

That makes me laugh....who here ever admits their mistakes?

What interests me is who they will blame!

Why not just them to hit themselves in the face with the back of a shovel.

Or totally confuse them by presenting a shovel and a spade and telling them to take a pick

Anyone who finds the name Junta appropriate In Thailand is Retarded. If you had lived under a Junta and posted anti stuff you'd be in a River dead by now.I think a load of well meaning Bumblers more appropriate ,after removing a Thieving Crafty Chap .They have at least created a Bumbling Peace , that only the North East Reds don't like much

A shovel, a spade a pick and how about a fork, rake and hoe. Maybe get some work done then.

The Thai people plunging the country into deep unrest never looked even remotely imminent.  Never bought that story and never will.  The "reds" had their fairly elected candidate removed from office by the military.  Some anger would be expected.

The junta has not achieved anything and has created an environment of further animosity by not allowing political debate.  Being asking the junta to admit shortcomings when it has not accomplished anything is a massive loss of face.  It will not happen.

Well at least they have made some things happen for the good of the general population, and I think I have read several articles where the boss said he was backing up on a plan or putting some on hold, etc. The only people I have heard of not making mistakes were ''do nothings'' . At least they are trying to make postive improvments in the country, unlike past groups who seemed to have spent most of their time increasing their personal assets.
