On Sunday I went to watch John Wick 2 in Cinemax. The film is rated 18+ due to constant violence. The "kill count" in the movie was an incredible 128 in the two hours, mostly head shots but a couple using a pencil driven into skulls and also a graphic slashed wrist suicide.

I would not really recommend this movie, the story line is minimal and there is no character development, more like continuous character termination.

However, the place was full of unaccompanied kids ranging from about 8 upwards. There were way more kids than adults. On the way out I asked why kids were allowed in.

"No plobrem, can see, can see".

So here's a BIG WELL DONE to Cinemax, exposing the young children of Thailand to senseless violence and death, and an acknowledgement to the parents.

You all clearly know what is best for your kids.

Probably see more violence on tv, given that most kids watch a lot of tv, and tv has a lots of murders- there are plenty of series that deal just with murder.

Also U Tube has loads of really graphic violence, as I found out in the local IT cafe looking at the vile stuff the kid next to me was watching.

That's one cat not going back into the bag.

IMO it's just the modern equivalent of the Roman games, without the real blood.
