Electric Razor/Shaver in Hand luggage

I'm Traveling to Penang for the Football 7s and I only going for a few days staying at my mates place. Only need hand luggage. Can I carry the electric Razor/Shaver in the hand luggage. Tried Googling it but unclear

I have carried both electric & disposable razors in hand luggage. Never a problem.

I've carried a rechargeable electric razor with me all over the place inc. into America.

Never fly long haul without one in my carry on. I always use the battery but don't airline toilets have a shaver socket ?
