BANGKOK: -- The government seems to be aware that it has an issue getting what it considers the right information to the media.

Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-o-cha often blasts his spokesperson team for failing to maintain the distribution of information to his standard.

At his weekly press briefing last Tuesday, Prayut even lashed out at the team for “failing” to clearly explain the ongoing controversy of the Krabi coal-fired power plant.

Shortly after the blast, the team set up three chat rooms via Line.

Hop to it, underlings! His Supremeness has spoken.

"The Team" should expand on this new idea of using Line and bring in Pokemon to help spread the word of the Mr. Grumpy.

The Thai government has millions of pencil pushers and bureaucrats on it's

pay roll, surly a media savvy personal could be found to convey the right

and correct messages for the PM to insure that the public is fully informed...

Well if that screenshot is the actual line chatroom the pm briğht idea has failed. 221 people in the chatroom. Might be better juat ahouring on a street corner as a meana to get the message out.

Whose going to use that chatroom to complain about government issues? Your IP address will be tracked and a knock on the door from a jeep load of soldiers awaits those that do. On the other hand you could join the chat group to praise the government and gain face.

They might not know how to use LINE but they had no problem spending millions on LINE stickers after the Coup.

Why doesn't he open a Twitter account?

It works for Trump.

To much work that is what underlings are for. The higher your status the more your assigned. They do all the menial work paint your house whatever your little ole heart desires.

"The three rooms will be staffed by 316 people". Good luck with that bright idea!

Sounds like a super committee needs to be formed to oversee the LINE teams.

I seriously don't think he knows how to use Twitter. Or knows what it is. Probably haven't even heard of it.

Arai? Tuh-wit-tuh ker arai ah...???

Do you know Social Media scares the hell out of me and many other people

I never use it "Never Never or tell lies" well maybe this one.

If someone says something bad about you on line, just smile and think to yourself well at least someone is thinking about you, thats nice

Except here its the CCA and money in ya pocket time, even if its true and it does not cost you a cent. no wonder the BIB don't have time to catch muggers and murders.

Nuff said I am off to see if there is any Freedom left in the world?
