Tesco, Big C, Foodland, Villa, Robinson's, Central, etc, i.e. almost everywhere, sells electric kettles which may or may not though qualify as "travel kettles", whatever they are.

Got a cheap one in Big C a few years ago, around 2-300 baht. Works fine and cuts out at boiling point. Technically a travel kettle would be  smaller and costs quite a bit more, this was just a small 1 litre plastic kettle, AJ brand I think.

spend 100 baht more and buy a simple rice cooker ,

 

it will boil water but also you can make  lots of other stuff , and when you leave it the person that gets it will be happy and use it :)
