March 4, 20179 yr Where can i get a small travel kettle for not much money in Bangkok? I don't want to spend too much because i'll be leaving it at my room when i leave anyway...
March 4, 20179 yr Tesco, Big C, Foodland, Villa, Robinson's, Central, etc, i.e. almost everywhere, sells electric kettles which may or may not though qualify as "travel kettles", whatever they are.

March 4, 20179 yr Big C @ Ekkamai. There is another shop with household items in the same building (2nd floor IIRC), forgot the name tho.
March 8, 20179 yr Got a cheap one in Big C a few years ago, around 2-300 baht. Works fine and cuts out at boiling point. Technically a travel kettle would be smaller and costs quite a bit more, this was just a small 1 litre plastic kettle, AJ brand I think.
March 8, 20179 yr spend 100 baht more and buy a simple rice cooker , it will boil water but also you can make lots of other stuff , and when you leave it the person that gets it will be happy and use it :)
