CD4 test Pattaya

Featured Replies

Hoped someone could let me know which hospitals or labs can perform a CD4 and viral load test, and if possible the price, preferably without the prerequirement to see a Doctor.

Any names and figures would be highly appreciated and there's many other topics to debate the condition itself.

Thai Red Cross Anonbymous Clinic in Bangkok would meet your needs.

In Pattaya, hospitals will insist you see a doctor first. Labs: I don't know but would be a little concerned about quality/accuracy.  They won;'t be able to VL onsite, would have to send it elsewhere, and only large labs will have the equipment for CD4.

If you are unwilling to come to Bangkok then I suggest you contact Dr. Philippe Seur, a Western doctor who runs an NGO for HIV+ people in Pattaya. He will be able to tell you if there is a  reliable lab for this in Pattaya.

Thank you Sherly for your swift reply.

I have heard of Dr. Philippe Seur but have no idea what range of services he offers, so will contact him as suggested.

I remember reading somewhere that Pattaya Bangkok hospital did the tests but would imagine the cost would far exceed that of a trip to the Thai Red Cross.
