I have been having pubic discomfort and sometimes pain since June last year, after many months trying to find out whats going on, a Chiropractor in England who specialises in Pregnancy and Pediatrics's said I have pubis symphysis, he said its more common in woman who are pregnant, but men can get it too. I posted about my issues before and some people thought I was trolling or it was in my head, the chiropractor was able to temporally reduce my discomfort dramatically but because of the physical nature of my job the discomfort returned.

Just to confirm this is a chiropractor's diagnose, I have not been diagnosed by a doctor to have pubis symphysis, I recently have decided to stop seeing the chiro as it was £50 per session and after a good start it was just not helping much anymore and I don't trust him, but the fact he was able to reduce my symptoms to the point where I felt 90% cured that lasted 2 days, tells me he's on to something, and my Pubis is causing the discomfort. Also the muscles in my lower abdominal/pubic area and adductor muscles feel tight.

I'm curious to know how would Doctors treat a young male with pubis symphysis ? How would they diagnose it ? is there medication that can help with the discomfort ? I did see a GP and mentioned to her about the Pubis and she said she would send me to a Urologist but I needed to find out if the MRI I had last year scanned my pelvis or not.

Pubis symphysis is just the name of a joint and we all have one.

I assume you mean  either "pubis symphysis dysfunction" or "Osteitis Pubis". These are 2 different conditions and the second is far more likely in a male than the first.

In either case treatment is physical therapy, sometimes antii-infammatory drugs, and supportive devices such as a sacroiliac belt.

I seem tio recall from past threads that you had a history of some sort of pelvic injury? If so best to see an orthopedic doctor to confirm the diagnosis and make sure there isn't a hairline fracture or other underlying injury, and to get instructions in appropriate exercises as well as exercises/movements that should be avoided.

I had a bad bicycle fall in Gran Canaria in Dec 2015, landed on my left hip (have scar) low back etc .. but the Osteitis Pubis started in June last year a couple of days after a night of sexual intercourse in Pattaya. Haven't been diagnosed by a doctor with a pelvic injury or anything.

ok thanks, I'll try and do that
