There has been many problems for members who wish to post images onto Thaivisa forums.

A number of those have recently been solved but there are still one or two that remain and

have Ben, Jim and I wondering what is causing this.

The purpose of this survey is to find how members post images  and in the end hopefully

provide a clue which will allow Tech to solve the present problems that exist.

Please note the three questions are multi choice which means you can tick more than one option.

I myself use more than one in two of the questions.

Any comments are welcome and you can leave those here at anytime.

Using drag an drop seems to be working OK now.... for me at least.

Still a problem using Google photos, and inserting from  URL  or pasting the link to the panel. it does not show the image to all members.

Generally I use Firefox as first choice for viewing the forum.  Some times Chrome.

I usually just download photos to my desktop from my Android cellphone, using GooglePhotos, then drag and upload as directed.

I have yet to upload any directly from my phone using the ThaiVisa App, but that is probably because my phone and internet access both suck...

The joys of living in northern Songkhla.. slow internet!

Perhaps as a favor, could you please try posting an image, here... using Google Photos, although we think we might now know the problem is having a few more posters post especially using Goggle Photos...

  • 2 weeks later...

A number of issues now seem to be resolved with uploading... either by drag and drop or using the Insert other media, using the insert new image method.

Insert method seems to have a few issues still, with it not always working, (from my trails anyway)

Could any of you still having issues with photo uploading, perhaps mention it here, so that Tech team can take a look.. Thanks~!

Using Firefox

rarely  Drag files here to attach or choose files

Nearly always using Flickr

No problems about posting and seeing my images .

BUT I have to write :

sometimes cannot see some images from other people ;

for example if you make some transformation on your Flickr image after posting the image here, I will not see the older image; you have to re-post it; it's a new image with a new link .
