Hi all,

I fly out of Don Mueang Airport next week and am going to

get a re-entry permit there. I have some questions now.

1. Do you have to get stamped out first before proceeding

to the Immigration desk to apply for a re-entry permit?

2. Is the desk open 24hrs a day?

3. Does a single re-entry permit cost you 1,000B there?

4. What do you need to apply for one? A photo or something?

Thank you in advance.

1. The re-entry permit desk is just after departure immigration at Don Mueang.

2. Yes

3. Yes

4. Best to have a 4 X 6 cm photo with you. You could save some time if you had a completed TM8 form. Copies of passport photo page, visa, extension stamp, entry stamp and TM6 departure card.

Hi, ubonjoe!

Thank you for your info.

As for Question 4, can I photocopy these documents

at the Immigration desk?

Thank you.

There is no 30 day tourist visa unless your are from one of the few countries that only get a 30 day entry from a tourist visa.

It think you may have a 30 day visa exempt entry.

Not sure why you want a re-entry permit for a visa exempt entry. You could get another one when you enter the country

You can get a re-entry permit that will keep the remainder of the 90 day entry valid when your re-enter the country.

The re-entry permit office is open 7 days a week.
