Penphat was charged with theft during the hours of darkness and prepared for a court appearance.

Ugliest looking ladyboy I,ve ever seen,no wonder he (she) only operates under cover of darkness :cheesy:

Probably one of the best arguments for short-time. You don't have to see what you brought back from the bar in the harsh light of day.

A 50 year old ladyman ?  He must have been doing this for 30 years in Pattaya .

In common law, burglary is actually defined as occurring during night time hours.  Why are people having so much trouble with this?  Darkness gives the miscreant an advantage and the victim a disadvantage so the penalties are higher.  Geez. Get over it and stop trying to back bite every little thing.  That's a game for children.

Insurance law maybe different? Is common law that different? In what country is this "common law"? When I was involved in insurance, burglary was the forcible entry to premises whereas theft was NOT FORCIBLE entry (premises unlocked, theft as a servant etc.). Daytime or nighttime was no different.

What difference does it make daylight or darkness?

Theft is theft no matter what time of day or night it is.

Well done that man, most people would not have held on to the scumbag.

In many countries there is a big difference. Break and enter, break and enter at night,

break and enter with people in residence.(home invasion) Shoplifting v. armed robbery.

Robert at night is considered more aggressive and deserving of a bigger penalty.

Unfortunately in Thailand that may be a 500 baht fine as apposed to a 300 baht fine.
