If you could have met someone famous, who?

Recommended Posts

I started a thread called "Have you met anyone famous?"

I thought I'd ask a similar question.

If you could have met someone famous who would you had met?

Tell me why?

What you wanted to talk about or ask?

Photo's, anything about them.

Oh and by the way they can be alive or dead but must have been in your lifetime.

Rob Halford the lead singer from the band Judas Priest. I wanted to meet him back in the 1980's but as I lived in rural Yorkshire and was still a young teenage boy I never got the chance to see him or watch the band live. My favourite song is 'Living After Midnight' and I just to this day remember being amazed sat on the sofa watching LiveAid as a kid and the presenter said. "And now we go live over to the U.S for Judas Priest" Oh, Lordy!

Robbie Williams very briefly in 1996 in a book store in Manchester. I went over and said
"you look very much like Robbie Williams."
"I am Robbie Williams," he said
"Can I have your autograph?" I said
"No, **** off" he said

My sister met him when he was in take that about 23 years ago maybe 25 years ago. They were up and coming and played a gig in Sutton park I think and the headline act that day was a very very well known rock group whose name has slipped my mind.

Chuck Chamberland. ...I would love to have talked withi hm about his book "A new pair of glasses".

It was one of the biggest turning points in my life when I first read it and played a hugh part in my road to recovery from Alcoholism
