each side lies.... but the Dems, Clintons and Al Gore lies do 3 or more orders of magnitude more damage than GOP lies.

that's the difference.

Trump is a buffoon. so is Ted Cruz etc. but when you have a guy like say Gore, or Obama with a handful of executive orders on this or that.... who says to one side 'it's very bad... but we're gonna fix it and we signed an agreement in Paris so please no more Earth Day events.. and watch out for those fires in Indonesia... and ice slowly melting'... very very slowly....(shhh and don't mention anything else).. and besides Al Gore is 'somewhat optimistic now' because solar and wind is now the winning choice.... except.....except..... and then there's this little old category called aviation.. which is gonna use biofuels and stop using oil and shale gas products real soon you can bet.... we're gonna grow it in the Saharra Desert and Africa.. they don't the ag land....

..... yet even up against the 250 or so energy serfs the average westerner has as modern day slaves to allow his or her life style as it is..... aviation is already a whopping 10% of the total deal.... as if it were as important as a veggie with that burger... or 6 cans of already opened Diet Coca-Cola with your dindin... (Trumpie himself)..... and is growing in leaps and bounds.... hmmmmmm... but hey we will...... blah blah blah blah......

and vote for Hillary!

now do you "foreigners" understand how Trump got elected?

as if there were not more than 7 billion of us and counting... which we can't change.. but.. but.... we can sign a dozen executive orders and wallah presto bingo... go back to sleep.... or whatever.

While I understand what each of those words mean, I have no idea what the whole post means. Too much fluoride  in your water? Or have you been eating those gay-ed up frogs??

Absolutely untrue.  Trump aside, the dems and republicans are the same.  All worthless and only interested in helping themselves or their donors.  At the expense of the average American.

Trump says America has 'the highest taxes in the world'—here's how the US actually compares

At a rally in Youngstown, Ohio, on Tuesday, President Donald Trump said that, in America, "we have the highest taxes in the world." In reality, the United States has average or below average taxes compared to similar economies.

The Pultizer Prize-winning fact-checking site Politifact.com calls the President's assertion, which he has been making for a couple of years now, "one of his most repeated falsehoods."

Is it still news when Trump tells a blatant lie?

President Donald Trump told the Wall Street Journal that after his controversial speech at the Boy Scouts National Jamboree in West Virginia, the head of the Boy Scouts called him and told him it was "the greatest speech that was ever made to them."

But the organization told TIME they are unaware of any call from national leadership placed to the White House.

A mentally bizarre incompetent clown as POTUS. Not normal. Not OK.

Quote

Trump is doing irreparable harm to the White House's credibility

The credibility of the White House matters. Trump has willingly sacrificed it, tossing it away for no reason, to boast about matters as a trivial as a speech to Boy Scouts. The loss of credibility for America's President will have serious consequences, both for Trump's domestic agenda and for the standing of the United States in the world. It's not an amusing matter.
This latest rambling interview is yet another window into the White House. It makes clear that the recent staff changes will do little to rescue the Trump presidency, because the real problem with the Trump presidency starts at the very top.

Those Calls to Trump? White House Admits They Didn’t Happen

"WASHINGTON — Has President Trump told you about the time the head of the Boy Scouts called to say his was the best speech ever delivered to the more than century-old organization?

"What about when the president of Mexico picked up the telephone to let him know that his tough enforcement efforts at the border were paying off handsomely?"

"Sarah Huckabee Sanders, the White House press secretary, confirmed at her daily briefing what the Boy Scouts and the Mexican government had already asserted publicly, which is that neither phone call that Mr. Trump referred to had occurred."

Kelly cracks down on West Wing back channels to Trump

"Since starting this week, Kelly has told aides that anyone briefing the president needs to show him the information first."

"The Trump West Wing tradition of aides dropping off articles on the president’s desk — then waiting for him to react, with a screaming phone call or a hastily scheduled staff meeting, must stop."

"He will not accept aides walking into the Oval Office and telling the president information without permission — or without the information being vetted."

Trump aide dismisses Statue of Liberty 'huddled masses' poem

"A poem at the Statue of Liberty that is a national symbol for the country's embrace of immigrants became the topic of a rancorous exchange Wednesday at a White House news conference to announce President Donald Trump's push for immigration reform."

"Senior White House aide Stephen Miller told reporters the poem written by Emma Lazarus about the "huddled masses"

is not part of the original Statue of Liberty."

"Miller said the statue is a "symbol of American liberty lighting the world" and suggested it had little to do with immigrants."

http://www.sacbee.com/latest-news/article165111222.html

A poem added to the base of the Statue of Liberty that welcomes immigrants has been dismissed by an aide to President Donald Trump.

"The National Park Service says Lazarus' sonnet depicts the statue "as the 'Mother of Exiles:' a symbol of immigration and opportunity —

symbols associated with the Statue of Liberty today."

"The statue was a gift from France commemorating its alliance with the United States during the American Revolution."

"Edouard de Laboulaye, a French political thinker and abolitionist, proposed the idea of the statue and made sure

broken shackle and chain were at the right foot of the statue."

This says all you need to know about Miller and if truth be known - Trump

Miller is widely seen as sharing an "ideological kinship" with, and has had a "long collaboration" with, current White House Chief Strategist, Steve Bannon

The inept one signs the Russian sanctions bill behind closed doors. In secret.

His first major piece of legislation.

No grand public press session in the White House touting the bipartisen bill's greatness, no handing out of pens, no photo ops, nothing.

Why is that Donnie?

Ya gone yellow?

Wife Of Criminal Attorney Mueller Added To Russia Probe Signals Charges Set For Trump

Special counsel Robert Mueller has added a former U.S. Justice Department official to his now 16 strong team of lawyers investigating Russia’s penetration of the 2016 presidential election. This addition of yet another lawyer alone, is evidence that Mueller’s investigation continues to move forward, but this new addition’s wife just gave us some highly encouraging and even better news; the team is clearly preparing charges to bring against President Trump.

White nationalist talking points FROM THE WH PODIUM!!! On live TV! In the country that invented the term "melting pot"

Just six months after the first black president, no less. No wonder that despite zero legislative achievement, not a single election promise kept, there are people out there who feel Trump has achieved a lot. In their eyes, he has.

Did Melania Trump speak English when she immigrated to the United States in 1996?

And did she obtain her citizenship legally or did she lie about working illegally here first?

In fairness, it's difficult for any politician to even open his (or her) mouth, let some sounds come out and shut it again without falling foul of the daily news cycle, or the fact that circumstances change, or that they just get something wrong. Don't know if that makes them liars or not, but all politicians have those kinds of issues. And some negotiators (I'm sure Trump would include himself at the top of that particular tree) can be exceedingly slippery indeed. Truth? Lies? For what purpose?

Getting back to Trump (instead of 'What about Obama?'), I don't think the problem is about lies, actually. I think if Trump was a kid (and according to his vocab and sentence structures I'm guessing he has a mental age of about seven) and you were his parent, you might feel anxious for him because he's "ungrounded," with very little connection with reality. Unfortunately, he's not a seven year old kid with issues, he's a 71 year old man with issues in a position of great responsibiity, and as the WSJ interview showed he was incoherent,  rambling and delusional. I'm only a few years from his age, but if I'm like that when I arrive at 71, I think I would be a suitable case for treatment. Trump is so far gone, though, that option hardly seems likely.

Time to push back against the monstrously incompetent bully POTUS!

"Trump is a diminished figure, a weakened force after only about six months in office. Once the aura of presidential authority is gone, others (Congress, the chief of staff, third parties) become more and more daring in challenging the president, more willing to speak out (on the record or via leaks) and more insistent on taking matters into their own hands. Trump got to the presidency by faking his way through the campaign, pretending to have skills and knowledge he obviously does not. As he now fakes “being in charge,” watch for him to lash out at real and perceived affronts, step up the number of self-congratulatory lies (so many imaginary phone calls!) and strain even harder to recapture the adulation he experienced on the campaign trail by pandering to his less-educated, rural white base."

Donald Trump just keeps lying

"The first came when he claimed, at a Cabinet meeting on Monday, that the President of Mexico had called him recently."

"The second came last week in an interview with the Wall Street Journal, the transcript of which was published Tuesday  night."

The inept one is the chief purveyer of Fake News.

White House Colludes With Fox News to Embrace Disinformation

"As reported by NPR, a lawsuit filed by Rod Wheeler, a former cop and sometime Fox News contributor,

against the right-wing media giant, alleges that the network consciously spread lies about Seth Rich to help the president deflect attention

from the Russia scandal—and that the White House was directly involved in this conspiracy to deceive the public."

"Here a preeminent role was played by Sean Hannity, a Fox News star plus a friend of Assange’s,

who in mid-May broadcast fact-free assertions about Seth Rich and his alleged role in leaking DNC emails."

"Rich’s enraged family denounced Hannity and threatened legal action,

leading Fox News to take the rare step of retracting Hannity’s fabricated “bombshell” story."
