Prawit is back to work

BANGKOK: -- Deputy Prime Minister Gen Prawit Wongsuwan is now back to work and dismissed speculation that he was recuperating from sickness at hospital.

But he didn’t go to work at his office in the Ministry of Defence as usual.

Instead he went to work at the Pa Roi Tor Foundation office inside the compound of the First Infantry Regiment of the Royal Guards.

He declined to elaborate his recuperation from sickness at Phramongkhutklao hospital at the time of the bombing, saying it was just speculation of the news media and he would let them to guess.

Very mature. He was clearly away in a time when the country 'supposedly' needed him the most, and instead of explaining where he was (sick or afraid) he will let people guess. That really is the kind of national security leader that is needed in the wake of a bombing.

What does he do anyway ?  He is a  (yes) man of sorts ?  Nobody in this government seems irreplaceable .

Meh. Local Thai 'tea-leavers' say that he is really the one in charge (for someone else of course), and Prayut is the front-man.

On a personal note he remains famously single.

So was he at Phramongkhutklao hospital at the time of the bombing?

No idea why they are being so mysterious and wanting to keep people guessing?

"He that would keep a secret must keep it a secret that he hath a secret to keep"

No cigars for guessing where that came from.

He that would keep a secret must keep it secret that he hath a secret to keep.

That would explain why he does not argue with Prayut.  Why argue with a muppet ?
