PHUKET: The Phuket Highway Department has announced that the Darasamut Underpass, near the Central Festival shopping centre, will be closed to northbound traffic from 12pm to 2.30pm today (June 1).

 

The Darasamut Underpass will again be closed to southbound traffic tomorrow (June 2) from 12pm to 2.30pm.

Cleaning!  In the middle of the day.  I wonder what's really going on down there?

 

Perhaps that centre lane is earmarked for the Tram?

The middle of the day is not really busy, so not a bad time.

Most civilized country's do cleaning at night when roads are a little freeer

Not this bunch of idiots who could not careless of the inconvenience they cause and of course climate issues

Self serving

Corrupt

Unnecessary

Insert your own insult towards all things thai.

A lot on here conveniently forget traffic congestion back in good old back home.

Roadworks, cones etc etc are a permanent feature 24/7 in major cities all over the world..but when it happens in thailand it takes on a whole new sinister meaning for many on here.
