Its too expensive I may leave
You would be eating your words if you had to buy or rent housing in Australia. The average rent at the condo where i live ( swimming pool, shop, restaurant ) is 7500 baht/month. Show me anywhere else in the world where it is that cheap in a city. -

If Trump is re-elected what does it say about the I.Q of the average American?
Crime. Enforcement of laws. Too low minimum wages. Extreme capitalism where a few billionaires own more hundreds of millions poor people. The whole political system is a bad joke, or like others say: The best democracy money can buy. And yes, it's not only Trump and the GOP. The DEMs and the whole political system are also part of the problem -

Famous Singer Tik Shiro Involved in Fatal Bangkok Car Accident, Two Dead
How fast was he going ?? The female presenters simply stated 'fast' - that's not evidence or even indication that he was speeding... its just her opinion that from the CCTV is looks like he's going 'fast'... The CCTV footage does now show Tic speeding - it just shows the van's travelling. It also shows the car travelling in the opposite direction taking a similar amount of time to cross the screen - thus travelling at a similar speed. Speed limit on that road is likely to be 80kmh... Does the footage show he was exceeding that ? IMO - its impossible to tell from that footage... Again - where is the proof that he was speeding ?? - there is none. BUT - there is proof that he was DUI... and he was wearing dark glasses in every photo. Speeding may 'also be involved'.... In fact - as he was likely to be wearing dark glasses, and was 2x the legal driving limit his reactions would have been slower to a) initially see the motorcycle, and b) to react to it - so if travelling faster than he 'could see' - i.e. outdriving his vision and reaction, then yes, speed is a factor - but there is no evidence of 'speeding'.... -

You are correct. I am mixing up the failure to report with balances owing. Yes, the amount in your case would be very small. -

Bangkok Stop Over
As I thought about it, it is possible that they mention the transit visa as that may exempt you from paying the 700 baht departure tax. -

5% of CNG Buses Fail Safety Checks After Fatal Fire in Thailand
"Serious defects", i.e. there are another few hundreds with "minor defects" as far as the CNG is concerned? Anyone interested in accruing failing brakes, steering wheel issues - apart from drunk/sleepy Somchais behind the wheels? -

Bad experience using Bolt
Have used Bolt 100s of times (I don't drive so use them 4-6 times a week) & the only problem we've had with them was trying to travel Pattaya - Bangkok during Covid lockdowns when intra-provincial travel was (supposed to be) banned. 1st Driver turned up (Blue & Yellow Fortuner Taxi), stuck the bags in the boot then realised we were going to Bangkok & said he didn't want to go. I messaged the 2nd Driver & explained that we were going to Bangkok so to cancel the ride if he didn't want to take us, he told us he had a mate that would do it, took us to meet him & we got to Bangkok no problem. We were moving from Bangkok to Pattaya at the time so got the contact details of the guy who took us & he ending up taking us back & to a couple of times with no problem. Nowadays, we have the contact details of a Bolt driver we trust so when doing long journeys we call her & arrange a price between us (I usually offer 30-40% more than what Bolt is), if she's not available then her husband (a "Proper" Taxi driver) will take us for the same price. For airport runs it's Nam's Taxi every time. -
