webfact Posted June 9, 2017 Posted June 9, 2017 Governor to the rescue after twins scale barbed wire topped wall and swamp just to get to school Picture: Thai Rath TRANG: -- The governor of Trang province has intervened to try and help two twins who need to traverse an obstacle course just to get to class. The seven year old P1 students hit the news after they needed to clamber over a recently erected wall topped with barbed wire then cross a muddy meadow to get to Thai Rath Withaya for lessons. The fence was put up over a land dispute and has effectively hemmed in a family. The governor heard about the case and has negotiated a way out for Petch and Ploy, aged 7, to get to school before the court case in the matter is resolved. The children will be staying with their grandparents in the meantime so that their journey to school is less hazardous. Source: Thai Rath -- © Copyright Thai Visa News 2017-06-09
