BANGKOK, 9 June 2017 (NNT) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has held a meeting with the nation’s business sector to collect information and ideas on trade in preparation for the Prime Minister’s visit to the United States.

Minister for Foreign Affairs Don Poramudwinai announced after a meeting with the Thai private sector on preparing for the prime minister’s visit to the US that the discussion was the first of several called to gather needed data on Thailand’s trade and business ties with the United States. He said the initial talk was an exchange of information and ideas on how to benefit the business segment, noting that the data collected will also help the Thai administration improve its aid for private companies.

Don highlighted the opportunity to enhance ties with the US posed by the forthcoming visit by Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha, pointing out the two nations have not shared visitations by leaders in over three years.

Thailand is one of 16 countries that enjoys a trade surplus to the US and has been urged by the country’s government to improve balance by mustering investments of 5-10 billion USD. Along with trade, the premier is also expected to focus on the matter of human trafficking during his talks with US president Donald Trump.

Coup leaders are tolerated, not respected.  As divisive as Trump is, he seems to have been elected fairly, he ran a cost effective campaign and he came from behind to win.  The good general used military force.  There is a reason why people who have been elected do not speak to the good general.  He does not compare.

Want to enhance your relations with a man like Trump ?  Lower your ridiculous tariffs and never allow the fishing industry use slave labor again.
