BANGKOK, 12June 2017 (NNT) - Damrongtham centers will start gathering responses to the four questions raised by Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha on Monday, June 12th.

According to Interior Minister Gen Anupong Paochinda, members of the public can travel to Damrongtham centers at district offices nationwide with a picture ID and give their responses in regard to the four questions asked by the prime minister. The centers open Monday-Friday, 8.30 am to 4.30 pm.

On Friday, May 26th, Gen Prayut asked 1) will the next election result in Thailand having a government with good governance? 2) if not, what should the country do? 3) elections are part of democracy but are elections without regard for the country’s future right or wrong? and 4) should bad politicians be given a chance to run for office, and if conflicts return, who will solve it and by what means?

The centers will compile the answers and forward them to the Interior Ministry every 10 days, according to Gen Anupong.

The four questions are meant to get the public involved in the reform transition.
