BANGKOK, 15 June 2017 (NNT) – The National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) has found fault with the committee overseeing a stability fund under the Office of the Welfare Promotion Commission for Teachers and Educational Personnel (OTEP).

NACC Secretary-General Sansern Poljiak has announced the commission is an agreement that wrongdoing was committed within the committee managing the OTEP credit welfare stability fund. The committee includes head Kasem Klanying and 20 other individuals who the NACC says approved 2.1 billion baht and 400 million baht contract tickets for Billion Innovatech Group due to favor from the company.

The commission believes the body was wrongful both criminally and disciplinarily and is to charge Kasem with violation of the state employee act.

Billion Innovatech is also to be hit with charges of supporting the crimes and supporting state officers in dereliction of duty.
