BANGKOK: -- Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha and his Cabinet members are scheduled to visit Khon Kaen province on Wednesday to propel the Thailand 4.0 plan, and follow the implementation of government policies in the area.

Cabinet members joining the premier on the trip are Deputy Prime Minister Admiral Narong Phiphatthanasai, Interior Minister Anupong Phaochinda, Agriculture and Cooperatives Minister General Chatchai Sarikalya, Science and Technology Minister Atchaka Sibunrueng, Education Minister Theerakiat Charoensetthasil, PM's Office Minister Suwit Mesinsee and Secretary-General to the Prime Minister General Wilas Arunsri, according to Thai National News Bureau.

Several officials will be delivering a special lecture on driving the Thailand 4.0 plan in the northeastern region.

The Cabinet will observe the Khon Kaen University Research and Innovation for Thailand 4.0 exhibition to support technological economic development, innovation, creativity, and higher education institutions in the Northeast which are conducting academic research projects in accordance with the Thailand 4.0 plan.

The PM will also follow up on the government's urgent policy to promote large-scale farming through the cooperative system of the province and other agricultural development to reduce production costs, upgrade agricultural standards and strengthen agricultural institutions.

Give it a rest fellas, Thailand will never achieve anything close to Thailand 4.0, especially under your (lack of) leadership.

It is like a crusade, a strong, unwavering belief without substances.  The great one wills it !  Perhaps if they wore  shirts that said PHP, Linux or Java Script, that might add substance to their cause.

How can one promote something that is yet undefined.  There is no concrete plan, only catch phrases

Long way to go before they can sync Isaan 0.4 with Thailand 0.5.

So they won't actually meet the poor "man on the street" earning 300baht for a 12hour day, six days a week, or the impoverished subsistence farmer scratching out a living in his paddy fields! Just attend an exhibition and talk to elite university students and lecturers without sullying his hands by meeting
