Isuzu V-Cross model differences

The Isuzu V-Cross "base" model versus the V-Cross Max.  Are the differences more than just "bling"?  

Firstly, I'm offshore so cannot go to a dealer and take a look myself.  I'd appreciate hearing the opinion of anyone who has compared the models. And while they sell DMax in Australia - their second biggest market - the model lineup is completely different so I cannot go take a look at a local dealer - they don't sell a 'V-Cross' here at all, but you can get 4x4 in any model.  And there are more colours to choose from, and I think diff quality paint (I cannot even trust to compare colours here).

The Thai Isuzu site is only in Thai - how frustrating is it having to get your wife to translate everything you're trying to research?

I know the differences going from base model to Max are: 

 - seats - is this just the colour or are there differences in the seats themselves?

 - wheels 

 - grey grill

 - plastic-looking guard thing below grill 

 - plastic wheel arches

 - that plastic thing on top of the sides of the tub.

What interests me are the Max wheels, but at ฿31k difference I don't think I'd spend the extra just for that.  The plastic tub thing would come straight off, but I could put up with the rest of the bling - quite like the grey grill.  

How does the Max look in black?  Does the grey grill look stupid with glossy black paint, or does it kinda blend in?  (Hard to tell looking at pics / videos on the Internet.)

Does the V-Cross come standard with a tub / bed liner?  Salesperson is throwing one in on the base V-Cross, although she may be trying to pull a swifty.  

Not ideal doing this from offshore, but that's the situation and it ain't changing.  My wife is talking to dealers and she's doing alright with discounts / freebies.  We can get family to go pay the deposit etc..
