Have you got an Amorn shop in your area, they sell all kinds of Chinese made stuff,

they have a good selection of Tv remotes, A/C remotes,

I had problem with my Tv remote yesterday, put new batteries in it ,and nothing,

so I clean the battery connections with bit of sandpaper, then worked OK.

regards worgeordie

Some places like Lotus sell universal type remotes that might work if unable to find what you need quickly.  But am sure those that sell that brand can get remote for you and might have on hand.

At least some can be operated without the remote if you open cover.

There's an electronics shop in the Big C Hang Dong complex (down the less-popular corridor on the left side if you're facing the front, to the right of the telephone sales kiosks) that has a load of remotes for all kinds of devices.

I love such shops. They give you thousand ideas, more or less useful but inspiring anyhow.

Double edged sword.

Walk in looking for a $5 remote.  Walk out with $200 of fascinating stuff.
