While we don’t have a ton of information about this food prep clip, the content seems to speak for itself.

In the 7-minute video, three boys, who all appear to be younger than ten, work together to skin, chop, and prepare a meter-long snake for their midday meal.

Shared by Thai Facebook page Clip Corner, it’s been viewed 80,000 times in one day, with most commenters simply having a laugh or congratulating the young boys on their self-sufficiency skills.

The caption for the video simply says, “Lunch menu.”

It's allowed to eat snakes, cows, pigs, horses, I guess, poultry and more, but not dogs. I just don't get it! Any body who can explain?

My friend has a bar/restaurant and he's looking for a cook for Thai cuisine. How can he get in touch with the little chefs?

Dogs have had a symbiotic relationship with man since the dawn of time.  They perform jobs that help man live with security and peace of mind.  My dog has saved my life at least 5 times that I can think of offhand.  I for one don't kill things that save my life and help me live in a better manner.  It's simple, dogs work and return affection.  How many entities can you say that about?

The story is about eating snakes or hadn't you noticed. No one including me is in the slightest bit interested that your dog has saved your life 5 times and licks you every day and that you haven't eaten it yet because you are not starving.

The snake is a delicacy in many Asian countries. They can make one snake into a variety of small dishes.

The best is when they serve up as pre-dinner drinks two small shooter glasses. One a mixture of snake blood and vodka and the other green snake bile and vodka. These boys are gourmets and know their stuff.

Not sure what you mean by "It's" but do you think the attached pic are dogs for pets or dogs for dinner?

I was answering another poster who asked, " It's allowed to eat snakes, cows, pigs, horses, I guess, poultry and more, but not dogs. I just don't get it! Any body who can explain?"  So I explained.  You can eat snakes and in fact buy them in many countries for that purpose.  One of our dogs is recovering from a run in with a spitting cobra while saving our children from the snake.  The snake spit venom in the dogs eyes.  One can understand how kids wouldn't mind killing such a creature.  I personally have stopped killing snakes and now sweep any home invaders even the poisonous ones across the street to the the the jungle.  I've taken to spray painting the monocled cobras and Malayan pit viper's tails orange so I can tell if we have any repeat visitors.
