I fail to understand some Thai reasoning. I just don't understand how these 'pretties' are responsible for the alcoholics in Thailand. It is similar to hip thrusting singers responsible for unmarried sex in the country. The logic bogles my mind.

In effect....... Presently a 'Police state'.................

2 large ones, please.

Government officials and police have nothing more serious to investigate as no more serious crime has been committed in the country.

Think it is more about getting their priorities in some sort of order...Nobody in command seem to not know what they are...

Was hooked within the first 17 seconds of the video, but alcohol did not come to mind at all .  They just seem like really nice kids trapped beautiful bodies.  The young ladies appeared normal.  Their arrest was completely odd and unprofessional.  Going to persecute good looking people working in bars and night spot ?  Other countries in Asia do not do that.  Thailand becomes harder to fathom by the day.

I guess we won't be seeing any more of the CHANG girls promoting their products at local beer gardens. What a shame I liked their outfits

If things like this continue we probably won't see any more beer gardens...

Kaset-Nawamin. Mainly Uni chicks. Rare a farang goes there. Won't hassle for drinks but like to practice their English. Thai prices so cheap enough. No hookers so you'll have to get their line and take them out if fancy one

When the Police go around arresting pretty people in bars , who decides on whether they are pretty or not ?

When the Police go to bars and arrest pretty people, could they remove their make-up and then ask for a second opinion ?

I can see Chang brewery going out of business and there will be no beer for sale in Thailand anywhere .

Lots of people from the brewery will be unemployed, there will be no beer to drink , there will be riots in the street .

Everyone will either starve to death, get killed in the riots or dies from alcohol withdrawal symptoms and the person who got fined 500 Baht for having a machete will be the only one left alive

This is the final nail in Thailands coffin, Im going to Cambodia

I really don't understand the "logic" (oh...well...) behind this!

When I am in a place, where I see these "beverage consultants", I have already decided (at least in 80% of all cases), that I want to consume alcohol in some form. I am in A PUB (a bar, a restaurants...)!

It's not that anyone ever walked into one of these places in order to have a glass of warm milk or an orange- juice and decides -facing a lovely lady in a tight dress- that he'd/ she'd rather have a beer, now!

So what are these retards arresting them for?

(No offense to actual retards intended!)

Mental retardation prevents the use of reason, common sense, vision, prudence, deep thought, or the ability to see things clearly, and analyze the consequences of one's actions. Hence, the moral police.

Have you ever been in a situation when you decided not to consume any alcohol and then someone offers you a beer and then you decided to have one ?

Goodness gracious me! Why ever should one get oneself into a situation where one decides not to consume alcohol?

It's the Thai whisky that causes all the problems. What a joke these clowns have become

1) Hardy any pay tax.

:stoner:

7% of every mobile phone charge is tax.

7% of every electronic purchase is tax.

Every purchase of fuel is contributing to the nations tax revenue.

Most purchases of items from abroad are subject to some tax.

Every stay in a hotel is subject to tax, local and national.

Your costs of purchasing from most stores is contributing to corporation tax.

Over 3 trillion baht was collected in taxes in 2016. Thats over 40,000B/person. Everyone pays tax in some form. Your post is nonsense.

It's a relatively small amount considering the UK population is around the same size as Thailand's and they collected about 720 billion pounds in taxes for the same period, that equates to circa 15 trillion baht.

A post containing a link to a news site that is blocked in Thailand has been removed.

RTP retards. Nuff said.

More evidence of these terrible crimes...

Totally different wage scales between UK and LOS, plus the UK has a tax system where everyone is under the watchful eye of the tax man who has a system to tax near everything anyone does...

Absolutely ludicrous, what a pathetic state this country seems to be getting itself into.
