Overseas Company needs to setup Development Office in BKK

Featured Replies

Ok - I know this question will get lots of varied responses - but lets give it a try

1 - Overseas incorporated Software development company - all customers and business is done outside of Thailand

2 - We want to open an office in BKK for software development

3 - All employees will be Non-Thai and imported.

4- could have 1-2 Thai admin if needed

5 - Wont have any contact/relations with any local businesses-   it's just a closed office space for us to work on our stuff

Question is -  what is the best legal way to do this?

You may struggle if all employees are from outside Thailand - but the BOI route may be the best.  As a Board of Investment business you do not need to have as many local employees.

But Singapore would be much simpler.

A scam ICO (innitional coin offering - basically IPO but with no regulations) is the only thing that I could think of it

you guys never cease to amaze me with your jackassry

hence the anonymous account.

some people prefer to live in thailand and work and have no need to hire local - and want to be legal at the same time

that should be enough to ask the question.

BOI route is the way to go.

Best to visit the BOI office in Chamchuri Square directly, if you're in Bangkok.
