Best product to fill large gaps between floor and wall? ?

I have had some movement between carport tiles and wall of house  leaving about 3/4" gap. I have cleaned out the old grout and the gap is now about 1/2" deep. I think the gap is too big to fill with silicone, would it just be better to use a concrete mix with no gravel?

Cement, yes. Why had the carport floor sunk?

Not sunk, just separated. There was some roadworks behind our house a few years ago, and the grader removed too much soil behind a retaining wall causing everything to move slightly. The movement stabilised so it's not likely there will be anymore.

Its sounds to me you have answered your own question (and I agree with you) but I often get frustrated with people calling everything cement or concrete and vice versa.

for the record concrete without the gravel is called mortar (gobbo) and thats what you lay bricks with.

cement is a component thats all, like water  and sand

concrete is a mix of 4 components; cement; sand, gravel, water

so as you have said and I agree, you need to simply make a mortar mix to fill those widish cracks

HomePro etc sell several types of ready mix repair mortar. Small bags start at around 35 baht. Only need to mix with water. Just right for small jobs. Usually in the same aisle as the Lanko and Sika products. Alternatively Weber make an exterior grout designed to bridge larger gaps - Downside is that it only comes in grey or beige

Yes, to add to the cementics, while trying not to put too fine a point on it...

You basically need mortar that contains coarse sand.

Also don't go overboard with the cement as your average local builder does; you will just end up with hairline cracks at best. A ratio of 1:3 or 1:4 is more than sufficient.
