CCTV caught the moment when a pick-up ploughed into parked cars in southern Thailand.

After the Isuzu ended up on its side and as passersby thought it might explode, brave employees scrambled out of the side window to help the stricken driver.

Amid a considerable amount of smoke a rock was used to smash a window to get him out in time.

Driver Saner Nuiret, 43, a contractor, was safely ferried to hospital suffering no more than an injured hand.

Trang police said they believed that he had suffered a seizure causing him to lose control of his truck in the Sri Trang road area of downtown Trang.

Three other vehicles were damaged but no one was seriously injured.

The Thai police is better than the Scotland Yard! Simply brilliant!
