  1. I have no desire, but I have the need quite often - further more getting my wife to even put fuel in the car is hard enough let alone consider being organised enough to charge ????
  2. This will only increase over time - I think for most an EV is a more than acceptable second car and very probably a useful daily. That said the convenience of gasoline/diesel refueling locations & times is a huge point of difference.
  3. I shall give it a "red hot" go ????
  4. Hence my request for specific brands - that are available here in LOS
  5. Ok I've put this here as I am sure some of the members have painted engines etc.... but I want recommendations for high temp easy to apply (spray) paint - although is for a BBQ, the temp ranges are very similar. In particular I would like the easiest to apply/finish as I have ZERO skills in this department. If anyone has advise as to how to apply and get no runs, happy to take it also.
  6. This does seem quite prudent - that said with most modern cars & the amount of beeps & bongs that go off in the cabin we should get a pedestrian warning system coming soon (unless we already have)
  7. I think what is missing is the convenience factor - for me personally I would need (ok technically want) one regular dinosaur bone fueled car and one EV
  8. honestly depends where you are travelling to and from - I am sure that Phuket to Deep south would be problematic, however to BKK (if no huge rush) this is very possible. For me personally as my daily commuter vehicle it would be very possible, as I return home daily and the maximum range I undertake (day to day normal circumstances) never exceeds 80-90 km
  9. I suspect the pricing will be ( as is always the case here) overpriced
  10. exactly - focussing on the "it can do" but not the reality of the situation.
  11. The youtube review I saw was not so amazing, to be honest it looked very cheap in terms of fit & finish
  12. My mum was literally born in a chippy and I have been a chef for over 25 yrs. MOST of the domestically produced spuds are from China & are grown to be big, crunchy & white - they have overly excessive water content, which as we know is the enemy of crispy. They are, on the whole, also terrible for mash.
  13. Due to the quality of spuds here mate - they are rubbish
  14. just the delivery times now i think holding them back
  15. I would like to get some stuff framed for my son - any recommendations in Phuket ? the simpler the better
  16. thank you - sorry I didnt see this earlier - certainly makes the MG EP wagon look like a class leader in terms of bang for buck
  17. Thanks - just watched a review from Aus, for the money seems very interesting
