  1. Although that is not what the OP asked, nor is it in North Jomtien...do they do a steamed fish?
  2. I have one too at the hardly used indoor kitchen.... it is simply a filter and light fitting and does not exhaust outside... wouldn't stand a chance against her and her wok!
  3. Yes, and it is what she wanted. They make a lot of smoke and smells not really suited to indoors. The washing machine is out there too so I hardly see her!😄
  4. I expect he means 'in the eye of the law' and your personal take on it is not important.
  5. Soon be a collection of mongrels I expect!😃
  6. Welcome to the family friendly resort! Well perhaps not his bit of beach he seems to have laid claim to!
  7. You know how it goes... sod everyone else!
  8. Yes, they are back... a coachload landed at the restaurant I was at Sunday night and they took over a large table nearby. They were like a table full of loud monkeys actually. Thank heavens I had nearly done and could leave. More of the same for high season I expect.
  9. What goes up, must come down I expect!
  10. What a load of off topic nonsense.....arguing about beach names. If the OP is happy with a fish in a tin, fish shaped pan, over a small burner, it is a standard at any Thai restaurant....no shortage of those.
  11. Most of the wines I have tasted from a box would benefit from a bit of Ribena.
  12. Thankfully my Mrs seems happy with 2 gas burners and a sink I had built outside behind the car port!
  13. You may have to explain that for me!
  14. You want convenience and home service it will be extra..... unless you strike up a friendship with one who you like the service of in her shop, and see if you can get her to visit after work. I suspect she will not be keen unless you make it worth her while.
  15. Always thought they were freelancers in there.
  16. Try here.... Boonthavorn https://maps.app.goo.gl/oCTtbi2f548xH5tL9
  17. All over the place..... as mentioned. Get mine out of town at a Sophon Supermarket which doesn't adhere to the timing restrictions that catch you out at the 7-11/Big-Cs etc.
  18. Dress him up in a Singha tank top, cargo shorts and flip-flops, and a bit of ink and he would look like a typical bar owner.
  19. My money is on 12-15 bottles of San Mig light earlier!
  20. Let's not pollute a Thai forum, and a topic about Pattaya with deflections. He may criticize the USA for polluting in a more applicable place... China and India too. I personally only have to drive a Km into the Casava fields just outside Pattaya to see how the locals treat their environment....
  21. A newcomer eh...... I have lived here some time myself, I have a baseball bat on hand but fortunately never needed it. Then again, my home is not a restaurant being bothered by arrogant and aggressive beggars.
  22. See it in some of the Expat shops... not sure if by the case though.
  23. Or grey water tanks.
  24. I saw a video recently that said cheapest, is meter taxi, using the meter, next is bolt, most expensive is what the meter taxi guy wants without meter.
