So the reason wasnt the surgical procedure, It was an infection that became a major health threat.  She should possibly have done her homework better.  Even the best hospitals have the same problems.  Many of the bugs are now immune to anti biotics. Thailand has had many happy endings for cosmetic surgery. No operation goes without risks

Glad you have money to waste going there. Thats why its so expensive.  You are paying for all the extra staff.  Rural hospitals supply the same medical services without the luxuries at a fraction of the price.  I have been a few times and service was excellent and so cheap.  The nurses need to be treated fairly.  " You cant live without them "

Nurses are essential in every country, every city and town.  They have always been over worked and under paid, because they care about people. Not like the government who tells them to stop complaining and carry on being poor with no benefits.  But its different for the PM and his mates. He goes to a nice private hospital at the tax payers expense.

Didnt read that they have had men out clearing rubbish from the khlongs or dredging blocked waterways to help prevent flooding.  No, they only have plans for when there is flooding !!

Look at the stall nearest the camera...... the pavement is black around the stand and the gas bottle is hanging over the edge of the pavement !   And still there is no way you could walk on the pavement so they have taken 1 lane off the road for pedestrians ! So what has it achieved ??      Nothing much.  Like most of the big plans in Thailand.

Phuket is not and never will be a world class tourist destination, in the true sense,  unless he means a low class tourist destination. It is now and will always be over crowded, over priced, dangerous and dirty. There are a few lovely places I know on the island but they are being discovered by tourists now.

An Idea.......Every person who goes before a court must get a minimum of 5 hours cleaning up rubbish in their town or village. They can do it in groups with minimal supervision from one of the lazy cops. How about very low risk prisoners getting a day out to clean up too ? They do that in many countries with good results.

If they ban street food where will the working Thais buy their food for the day ? These stalls are essential to the workers. No restaurants open early morning.

Thats nothing compared to what you see on a Cigarette packet.  And those pictures dont stop anyone from giving up.

Dont you just love trying to walk along the footpath trying to avoid huge vats of boiling oil, hot barbecues pouring out smoke, the choking fumes of fried chilli, plastic seats and people waiting and taking up all the path so you have to push past or walk in the road. So much Bangkok charm !!!!  Bo!!ocks !
