Whats the current rule for 800k seasoning for CW? I have just got my extension of stay, don't know if I will be around for another next year but want to cover all bases. Can I just spend the money now and then bring in another 800k 3 months before my extension next year? Cheers

From the article: Time period 2.5 months Average income 4000 Euro (1600 euro per month) No mention of flight costs (or loans to cover costs) No mention of fees for the employment agent (Thai side and fixer) It quotes annual earning in Thailand for farm labourer as 800 euros a year (67 euros a month - or 2600 baht) Does one need to take into account that in a covid year, prices are higher for the berries?

I say open all the bars but just make the owners adhere to same distancing as restaurants. OK to make fines for non compliance. Since the lockdown I have found I actually drink MORE being stuck at home on myself with only my booze collection for company.

Thai Airways International Routes Start To Return

130,000 baht return to LHR in Biz, 80,000 on Emirates. Nothings changed. -
I think the scene was generally dying in some locales even before covid. Obviously some areas will hang on and will probably hang on for years but in general the foreign scene will contract. Last time I went to Patpong it was just a shadow of its former self. Patts is becoming something else even though its a very slow transition. Hua hin bars are being moved to less desirable location.

The best fakes coming out of China now can cost up to 3000 USD according to the watch dealers on Youtube. Gentlemen timekeepers on YouTube (or something similar) are always finding fakes or partial fakes, even from dealers.

I always thought that "Khun" was the honorific for Mr. or Mrs. but I noticed on my Covid Certificate they use the honorific "Nay" before my name. Is this just a polite/official form of "Khun"?

"these people" really? Have you joined a forum tribe even before you arrive? Don't take this forum or its posters seriously. They are all as bored as myself (why else would I be here),

This happened to me as well, on doing an extension of stay the IO put a new piece of paper in my passport saying next 90 was not required until date x/y/z (3 months after the dates of my extension, implying they had updated for me. I mentioned to a friend and they said to try an online 90 day just in case, I did and got approval for that. Has left me a little confused but have put my online 90 approval in my passport.

A lot of attacks here about "complainers" and people with "negative attitudes". But if you sit and think about it, complaints and gripes are the only reason this forum exists. The headlines and lack of details in opening articles are intended to rile and cause reaction, almost inciting complaint. Why? Ever seen how many ads are on each page, each post/click/page refresh provides the money that keeps it going, its self perpetuating based on anger/frustration. And if you think long and hard about it most of the reactions are complaining about complainers. Self defeating POV?
